Making progress with your DIY PVCu conservatory

Do

• ‘keep the faith’; it will all be worth it in the end. If you decide to take a break away from building your conservatory for a while, set yourself a time break target, and stick to it.
• use one fixing too many rather than not enough, the same for sealant, an extra squirt will be nothing compared to the annoyance, inconvenience, and embarrassment of a leaky conservatory.

Don’t

• lose motivation three quarters of the way through building your conservatory – keep going and pay attention to detail, as hard as it may seem if your enthusiasm falters, you will soon get over it and it will all come together quicker than you thought.
• be over optimistic about how long it will take you to finish your conservatory. Everyone will ask you “how long did it take you to do”. That question is totally irrelevant – take your time and do everything properly – you do not have to prove anything to anyone.
